Propriotor’s Story

In August of 2020, we fulfilled a lifelong desire to operate a bed & breakfast style establishment and purchased the existing Mainstreet Suites in beautiful Bramwell, West Virginia. Known for it’s millionaire mansions and access to the Hatfield McCoy Trail System.

We’ve relocated from Charleston, South Carolina. I know, it’s beautiful and historic too. So, you are wondering why? Frankly, we were sick of the traffic and the bugs and Bramwell is a very peaceful and unique town. The people are wonderful and the views are gorgeous. The town is surrounded by the Bluestone River and the perfect spot to stay if you appreciate history or like to ride the ATV trails.

My wife and I have been married for 25 years this March. We are high-school sweethearts and have two beautiful daughters, Lillian and Sophie. We’ve moved around a bit during our 25 years. The furthest being Coos Bay, Oregon. Another beautiful place to live, but hell to get to.

I am a military veteran. Serving in both the Marine Corps and the Coast Guard and spent 14 years in Law Enforcement. South Carolina will always be home for us, but we are ready for our next adventure here. And believe me, owning a buidling built in 1923 is definitely an adventure.

When you come to visit, expect to be greeted by two pups that are probably friendly to a fault. They think eveyone they see has been put on this earth to give them affection.
